My most cherished possessions are the gifts that others have made for me. Each time I look at the items, the person who made it comes to mind, and I think of how special they are to me. Just the tiniest little part of them is in that object or item. What a gift!
I think this should be the year of make a gift for someone. Back to basics people!
Since the energy predicament will be with us for the long-time future, we need to re-think the way we do things. This is not entirely a bad thing! Quilts and quilting was born from recycling. Our ancestors did not “toss” things away. They re-purposed. Quilts were made of old flour sacks, old clothing, etc. During the civil war, the quilt patterns were named to reflect our American history.
Being the clever people you are, your creative juices should begin flowing.
So, I am offering to help anyone in my newsletter audience who wishes to make a gift for someone ( including themselves).
If you have an idea, but don’t have the supplies, tools, I will try to make them available to you. I am usually able to find the niche notions not readily available in retail stores.
